I particularly like the story mode (see 1745 episode) which gives a fantastic insight to the plight of these important historical figures.
My wife and I are from South Africa and visit Scotland as often as we can. We are currently driving through to Glencoe on a cold and rainy Scottish morning and this podcast is the perfect listening material. Very well presented by someone who is clearly passionate about Scotland and it’s rich history.

I just listened to the Glencoe podcast - what a fantastic combination of dramatization (“imagine you’re lying in bed, with your baby in the crib beside and two soldiers just beyond the blanket curtain...”) to help us understand the lore, followed by an excellent explanation of the political context that led up to the events and the political impact eventually felt by the events. My friends and I leave for 2 weeks in Scotland soon, and this really helped the history of the Glencoe, Loch Ness, Fo... more
Episode titled “1745” is a very poignant story of the clans’s demise. A wee podcast well worth a listen
Really enjoyed this but seems I'm late finding them.would b great if their were more.
I've only done the Wallace and the Devolution episodes, but have enjoyed them . I see there are five episodes, and hope there will be more...I'd love a facebook page as well where the topics could be further explored. It's good work, well done!
