For an overview of the sea change of new notions in physics, there is no better source than Dr Hossenfelder.
Sabine Hossenfelder’s podcast is a breath of fresh air in science communication. She cuts through hype and jargon with clarity, wit, and a sharp eye for what actually matters. Each episode gets straight to the point, making even the most complex physics topics understandable without ever dumbing them down. I love how she combines skepticism with curiosity always challenging assumptions while keeping the science front and center. A must-listen for anyone who values clear thinking and no-nonsense ... more
Utterly enjoyable even when I don’t quite understand it, which is about half the time.
As a physics student I did not find inconsistencies. She explains complex notions in a simple way in order to be understandable by other people outside of the world of physics, and she does this perfectly.
Sabine is a great antidote to those many other testosterone fueled over the top science podcasts out there. I like that she keeps it real and doesn’t talk down to her audience.
