This guy has plenty of intelligent things to say but he’s such a religious zealot that it doesn’t take long for him to become tiresome. Plus he’s a big cheerleader for the intellectual fraudster Eric Weinstein and that should be enough reason for anyone to turn him off.
Think like a physicist and wonder like a human…and always talk to people who have different view points. His podcasts are always at least interesting and at most deeply game changing.
Brian, you better be right about all this God stuff
Because it seems to be more about politics and religion than actual astronomy. Also the last episode crying about Joe Rogan not believing in the moon landing made me start actually doubting NASA which is ironic since that was the opposite of what Keating intended.
So this guy just critiqued another guy and his argument was that some kinds of slavery are fine. Or perhaps he's referring to indentured servitude. Either way I'm not sure I would release a podcast explaining that is how you feel- you might want to keep that shit to yourself. If he has someone who cleans his house or a nanny or something, i hope they hear this podcast. His pompous delivery should suffice to let us know he thinks himself superior, no need to illustrate this by defending servitude... more

This show blends high-level science discussion with big-picture questions about meaning, belief, and future technologies. Episodes frequently pair physicists and researchers with critics, journalists, and thought leaders to explore cosmology, AI safety, UAPs, science communication, and the societal impact of scientific advances. A standout is the willingness to challenge established ideas, mix skepticism with curiosity, and invite diverse viewpoints, from rigorous physics to philosophy and policy. Listeners who enjoy deep dives into science, the nature of evidence, and future-focused tech debates will likely find it especially engaging, though some episodes polarize audiences with provocative takes or controversial guests.
