Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

11: Gwenno
Q: Do you think artists have power?
It changes with each generation; my experience has shaped a marathon outlook on my career.
11: Gwenno
Q: How was the tour for you?
I love it more now; I realize that being in the room with people is where you learn.
10: Dry Cleaning
Q: And is there anywhere else on the tour that you're particularly looking forward to playing?
The one I'm looking forward to playing is to Sydney Opera House, which I'm not sure has been announced.
10: Dry Cleaning
Q: So you mentioned Kate there, that's Kate Le Bon who's produced your new album, who I'm a huge fan of. So was having that more time with her quite a freeing thing then?
She was a bit more flexible in that way. There's definitely a few things that I was really keen to try that she didn't like the sound of but she let me try it anyway.
10: Dry Cleaning
Q: And was that shared love of music or the same similar type of music something that brought you guys together as a band or were you just like hanging out before the band?
We were friends. I met, well, Lewis and Nick known each other for 20 years, their anniversary this year. And I knew Floor for about seven years before we started the band as well.
