  • Hey Kyle

Kyle- just listened too trade episode. Perhaps more important than his play was the signing of Reggie itself. For about 25 years GB was the team coach’s threatened to trade players to b cuz the team stunk and the city is small

Reggie coming here and embracing the community made it clear it was okay for good Black players to come here

I know that’s not politically correct but ask one of your older colleagues

Today’s discussion of Ben Brust’s summer league NBA career including the in-depth analysis of his statistics was the hardest I ever laughed listening to the show. Well done all of you!

  • Used to be a favorite

Used to be great- but all they talk about is Aaron Rodgers even though he isn’t on the Packers anymore. Get over it! Bucks, Brewers, Admirals, Golden Eagles, Badgers, etc.- there’s plenty of other sports talk for Wisco

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: Braun on Skubal, Prospects and Hope
Q: Do you think the Brewers made a solid offer for Skubal, or was the move more for public relations?
Braun says he believes the Brewers indeed made a real, substantial offer, and that the background conversations likely favored the Dodgers' package in the Tigers' view; the trade should be judged by postseason impact rather than immediate optics.
Hour 2: Matt Lepay Joins the Show + How Aggressive Should the Brewers Be?
Q: You've got any Brewers takes for us?
Lepay emphasizes smart roster moves, depth in pitching, and the Brewers' ability to win without always spending dollar-for-dollar with the biggest market teams, while noting health concerns with the pitching staff.
Hour 2: Melvin Gordon Raises Badgers Standard
Q: What were you hoping to hear from Luke Fickell's interview?
A hopeful but cautious outlook; some encouraging signs about the leadership and the team's identity, but a demand to see results on the field before fully buying in.
Hour 3: Miz Watch, Freddie Buzz and Bulaga’s Keys
Q: What top three things would you look for in training camp according to Bryan Bulaga?
Defensive structure, secondary development, and how a young left tackle like Jordan Morgan handles the transition, with emphasis on progression through training camp and joint sessions as a predictor of performance.
Hour 2: Keyshawn Nixon, Jordan Love & Cubs Pain
Q: Jason Wilde, you've talked a lot about Keyshawn Nixon from the State of the Packers with Gabe Neitzel and Alex Strofe. Are you going to be more intrigued with trying to keep tabs on the offensive line or trying to keep tabs on the cornerback position?
Wilde suggests evaluating Nixon's performance and contract context while monitoring changes to the coaching staff and the younger corners who might step up if Nixon's price tag limits leverage.
