  • Hey Kyle

Kyle- just listened too trade episode. Perhaps more important than his play was the signing of Reggie itself. For about 25 years GB was the team coach’s threatened to trade players to b cuz the team stunk and the city is small

Reggie coming here and embracing the community made it clear it was okay for good Black players to come here

I know that’s not politically correct but ask one of your older colleagues

  • Favorite segment of the show ever

Today’s discussion of Ben Brust’s summer league NBA career including the in-depth analysis of his statistics was the hardest I ever laughed listening to the show. Well done all of you!

  • Used to be a favorite

Used to be great- but all they talk about is Aaron Rodgers even though he isn’t on the Packers anymore. Get over it! Bucks, Brewers, Admirals, Golden Eagles, Badgers, etc.- there’s plenty of other sports talk for Wisco

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

4PM: Packers Ceiling, Life Stories & Absolute Chaos
Q: What is your take on the Packers' draft overall?
Bulaga emphasizes that the draft should be viewed in the context of long-term depth and health; it's about adding pieces that will contribute as injuries occur and over time, not a guaranteed path to a Super Bowl.
Greg Gard on Portal Moves, Blackwell & Tournament Expansion
Q: What are your thoughts on the potential expansion of the NCAA tournament?
Expansion is largely positive for growing the sport and revenue; while it may be debated, it mirrors moves in other major sports and offers broader opportunity for programs to gain exposure.
Greg Gard on Portal Moves, Blackwell & Tournament Expansion
Q: What impact has the transfer portal had on your program and player retention?
The portal has increased mobility and requires a focus on building relationships and continuity; keeping players for longer and developing them through multiple seasons is still essential for sustained success.
Greg Gard on Portal Moves, Blackwell & Tournament Expansion
Q: How do you balance what you do in the regular season with the expectations of March Madness?
Gard emphasizes judging a season by the body of work, staying consistent from November through mid-March, and building a team that competes throughout the year rather than chasing a single tournament run.
2PM: What’s Holding Packers Back from Super Bowl Talk?
Q: What is stopping people from declaring this Packers team a Super Bowl favorite?
The primary concern is the offensive line's health and performance; until that group proves itself, optimism is tempered despite other high-level pieces returning. If the line holds up, the rest of the roster and defense look capable of contending for deep playoff runs.
