Reviews

4.7 out of 5 stars from 114 ratings
  • Decent once they get down to business

I like how they interact with each other and have their own opinions when they discuss sports. But they take so long to get to the actual sports talk. The best thing about this podcast is that you can skip through all nonsense. It should be about sports, not their personal lives, opinions on nonsports things, etc

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

7AM: Life After Giannis Begins
Q: How do you see ownership influence affecting decisions in Milwaukee going forward?
There's cautious skepticism about ownership inserting personnel decisions, with emphasis on Horst's role and the possibility of Haslam installing his own people, which could alter decision-making dynamics.
7AM: Life After Giannis Begins
Q: What do you think the two first-round picks mean for the Bucks in the near term?
The guests and hosts discuss the potential long-term value of the draft picks, considering raw talent, development timelines, and how quickly those players could influence a rebuild.
7AM: Life After Giannis Begins
Q: What is going on, gentlemen?
Schefter provides a quick, collegial read on the day's NFL news and ties it into the Bucks' situation, offering context for how far the league has to go before conclusions are drawn.
7AM: Brewers Keep Rolling & Schefter Joins the Show
Q: What's your take on the signage issue at the fast-food restaurant and how would you handle it if you were in charge?
The group agrees signage should clearly convey what's in new menu items, and workers should either know or be able to quickly find out those details, because signage + staff knowledge affects customer trust and experience.
8AM: Tucker Kraft's Next Contract Explained
Q: What does this mean for Tucker Kraft's contract when considering Kraft's ACL history and the market for tight ends?
The consensus is Kraft's deal will be structured with less guaranteed money and more incentives, using comparable players and the ACL history to justify a lower guaranteed baseline, with the potential to escalate based on performance.
