Not so much of an audio drama than an interview/story. You won't find a full cast or multi voices here.
The writing and acting were the star of the show. There are genuine heart here.
This is the exact opposite of all those crappy Hallmark Christmas shows. Horrible, heartwarming, and hilarious at the same time!
I was legit laughing out loud in every episode, and also tearing up during the touching bits. A really lovely pick-me-up and something that made me feel less alone during the holidays.
Heartwarming. Hilarious. Relateable. Phil Rickaby gives us a gift with this really lovely, really well crafted audio drama. He weaves together a story that confronts and explores our deepest held hurts and the choices we make, wrapping it all up in a big hug of hope. Cried. Laughed. Hit re-play.
Also... who doesn't want an expose on Mall Santa's? If you ever wanted to know what happens when a mall Santa has to go pee....
Phil tells a hilarious, heart-breaking and heart-warming story of one mans ability to mess it all up but never give up on what really matters. A wonderful tale with high production value.
Thoroughly entertaining. Highly recommend. I’ve laughed out loud and cringed. The segments are nice and compact but you get pulled in very quickly. Definitely worth listening to.
Wry humourous tale generates sympathy for man who is having worse Christmas than you.
What is going on in Santa’s head when he takes the throne in the shopping-mall-near-you? If you’ve ever wondered, Santa Claus and the Big F-Up is one Santa’s story of insider tips, questionable choices, and holiday traumatic injuries.
Phil Rickaby’s mellow voice is so well-suited to the part of mall Santa, I’m ready to line up for the chance to read him my Christmas list. Impeccable production values give all ... more
