  • Top cut horror crit

This show is extremely witty and insightful. I think they do justice to the best part of the horror experience and with a real love for the marvellous. It’s great that they seem to revel in the obscure, underground stuff in addition to the bigger names, giving both equally serious attention and with a deep knowledge of the genre to back it up. That alone is worth the price of admission but the conversational dynamic is also really top quality (hard to nail that one!) And most importantly, they ... more

  • Good, but … audio issues

Hey, guys. I found you when I searched for shows talking about Crow Country. Enjoyed the episode, but, after listening to a few other episodes of your show, I’ve decided I can’t listen anymore. There seems to be an editing issue. For whatever reason, it sounds like the English guy’s audio just cuts when he stops talking or while he’s talking. It’s very distracting.

Not sure how to explain it, but I think it’s maybe an editing issue. Doesn’t happen for any other speakers AFAIK. I mean this as co... more

  • I fundamentally disagree with the actors part. I think that is the very definition of a "you problem". Famous actors are issue for a small percentage of the viewers, but they are very often high quality performances. In which case the famous actor problem goes away with time. Given few years and most people won't know the actor so well. Although unfortunately games especially are rather tied in the time they were released due to the hardware and software.

Horror games are no longer a niche. We’re getting GOT contenders and hundreds of itch.io passion projects, and its only getting better. If you’re a podcast head, there’s nothing better.
