  • Respect and trust ministry but podcasr content overlaps too much

Great teaching and doctrine accuracy, but there is way too much overlap in content between parts one and two for many podcasts. Just post one longer podcast without the overlapping content. But I trust the ministry.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Devil We Abhor – Part 1 of 2
Q: What is the biblical basis for understanding the existence and role of the devil, and why does God permit evil?
The host explains that the devil exists for the glory of God and that God uses even evil to accomplish His purposes, ultimately leading to judgment and the victory of God and believers in Christ.
The Angels We Appreciate – Part 1 of 2
Q: Is it true that the Apocrypha was never part of the Jewish canon in Palestine?
Yes, it was never part of the Jewish canon; while the Apocrypha was included in the Latin Vulgate and later recognized differently by the Catholic Church, the canonical Old Testament used by Jesus did not include those books.
The Angels We Appreciate – Part 2 of 2
Q: As Christians, can our dead bodies be cremated? Are there biblical passages about this?
The pastor explains that cremation is not a sin, but burial has been the traditional Christian choice to honor the body and its resurrection, while noting there are historical and practical considerations that may lead to cremation in certain circumstances.
The Son We Follow – Part 2 of 2
Q: My question is, what would our Lord have us do according to the Bible with regard to Christian music?
Lutzer suggests avoiding extremes: not only hymns or music we personally prefer, and also not simply copying secular styles; instead we should seek wisdom to respond to modern music while allowing varied radio formats that give listeners choices.
The Sin We Rationalize – Part 2 of 2
Q: My husband is extremely angry with our teenage granddaughter who has gotten pregnant. How do I get past wanting to convict my husband and show love at this time?
Sylvia is advised to practice compassion and remind her husband of God's providence and forgiveness, while recognizing the worth and potential future impact on the grandchild, and to encourage a loving, grace-filled response rather than judgment.
