  • Respect and trust ministry but podcasr content overlaps too much

Great teaching and doctrine accuracy, but there is way too much overlap in content between parts one and two for many podcasts. Just post one longer podcast without the overlapping content. But I trust the ministry.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

An Extraordinary Death – Part 2 of 2
Q: Tell us about justification.
Justification means that Jesus Christ declares us righteous in God's sight, a gift that cannot be earned and is received by faith.
An Extraordinary Death – Part 1 of 2
Q: Pastor Lutzer, at a time when crucifixion was frequent, what sets apart the death of Jesus from that of common criminals?
The host asks for distinctions between Jesus' crucifixion and other executions, which leads to an explanation that Jesus' death carries unique redemptive significance, fulfilling prophecy and enabling atonement through his sinless life, fulfilling righteousness, and being a deliberate, divinely initiated act rather than a merely human crime.
An Extraordinary Authority – Part 1 of 2
Q: Does giving, whether monetary or time, have to be to the church, or can it be given to neighbors or family?
Give to the church first, as it is the primary place of edification and support, but you may also give to neighbors, community, and family; the key is to give joyfully and with the right heart, not out of obligation.
The Sermon On The Amount – Part 1 of 2
Q: Should Christians observe Jewish holy days, and how does that apply to us today?
We should acknowledge and learn from the Jewish holy days, but we should not imitate ancient Judaism in practice; they preview Christ's redemption and should be studied as pictures of the Gospel rather than as direct ceremonial obligations.
The Icon Of Tolerance – Part 1 of 2
Q: How does the speaker characterize the Parliament of World Religions and its premises?
He argues that it promoted a view that no single religion holds absolute truth and that proselytizing is discouraged, encouraging a relativistic approach where all religions are treated as equal but not necessarily true in their claims.
