  • Disappointed by the Switch from English to Swedish

I understand that it’s hard to speak English when your native language is Swedish, but it’s really hard to understand—even though I speak Danish. It’s truly a shame, as I used to listen to your podcast as a reward after my Wednesday intervals at 5 AM.

That being said, best of luck. You’re great personalities!

New running podcast, but one of the best. Binged all episodes over Christmas. Lots of useful info, insights into running community but also great chat.

75. The 4th Q&A + Reunion
Q: How should long runs be structured when training for a marathon?
It depends on where you are in your periodization and what your weekly load looks like; long runs should complement the week's faster work and may include elements of LT1 or marathon pace, with adjustments based on fatigue and goals.
76. The Kristine Eikrem
Q: Could you give us a quick background of who you are and how your running career began?
Kristine outlines starting running at 14, breaking through at 18 with junior and early senior level success, a stint in the United States, and a return to Oslo with a shift toward higher competition and marathon events in the 2020s.
74. The Jake Barraclough
Q: Is that a goal for London? Or is it more like a long-term goal?
Jake expresses that his goal for London is to attempt a sub-210 marathon, considering the potential for a pacemaker and a strong running group.
74. The Jake Barraclough
Q: Do you have some sort of periodization where you do like base period and there's some specific work and taper?
Jake explains that during his marathon build-up, the structure of his training remains constant with distance, but the pacing becomes faster, following the Japanese model of training.
74. The Jake Barraclough
Q: What was your PBs? What did you do?
