It reminds me of getting together with my close friends, getting drunk, ripping on each other, reminencing on pop culture of the last 40 years. Not too serious, nothing flashy, always a good topic that you may pick up a fact or two. Worth a listen!

This podcast is an act of performative absurdism. They pick a subject with a cult following and then proceed to discuss it while mispronouncing, misremembering, and generally misrepresenting it. Trust me you have anything else to do. You could intentionally run toothpicks up under your fingernails all the way to the cuticle and that would still be more enjoyable than listening to this steaming pile of a podcast.

I only listened to the Bob Ross pod. It took 9 minutes to say Bob Ross’ name, by 32 minutes in they still had not gotten through his biography to the point where he started his show. Not because they went into great detail but because anything details them. Fixing microphones, playing with a zippo, drinking more, talking about how each woman’s name sound like a porn name, and always finding ways to talk about themselves. They all seem to be good friends at least.
