  • Cuddihy is terrible

Joe was a character and a bit of craic if Cuddihy was a bar of chocolate he’d eat himself. RTE has very little new talent coming through the whole organisation needs an overhaul.

  • Great show!

It took me a while to get used to the format but it is a great show, especially when highlighting really difficult topics (such as abuse in irish schools). The lifeline team make sure to cover important issues thoroughly and because of the reach of the show you also find feel-good stories (such as people finding each other on air) in between. Looking forward to the show everyday. Keep on!

"This is a place people come to explore their own journey" The George turns 40!
Q: When was Victoria's Secret born?
Victoria's Secret emerged around 2003, after the performer left school and embraced drag as a form of self-expression, growing into a long-standing persona.
"To see him on the ground, getting kicked and punched...I'm so grateful I'm not planning his funeral"
Q: What happened when you arrived at the scene and afterwards?
The caller describes rushing to the scene, seeing his son severely injured, and then dealing with the aftermath, including hospitalisation, the video being shared, and the emotional impact on the family.
Social Media Ban
Q: What is Patrick O'Donovan proposing if there is no EU agreement?
He suggests Ireland may act unilaterally to ban social media for under-16s, treating the matter within its own jurisdiction if needed.
"The building is really engrained in the culture of Dublin"
Q: What would you say to people who call the centre ugly or say it never fit the city, especially as plans progress?
Beauty is subjective, but the key point is that the building has grown to be part of Dublin's identity, and any redevelopment should respect its contextual role, improve internal flow, and preserve the beloved elements rather than erasing the building from the cityscape.
"The building is really engrained in the culture of Dublin"
Q: What's the ideal solution for you then, if you accept the redevelopment; does it have to keep the current structure or can you repurpose it while preserving its character?
The ideal solution would involve changing the internal layout to improve public space and affordable retail, while retaining the main architectural elements like the dome, the clock, the glass atrium, and the façade, so the building remains recognizable to Dubliners and continues to function for independent shop owners.
