  • Cuddihy is terrible

Joe was a character and a bit of craic if Cuddihy was a bar of chocolate he’d eat himself. RTE has very little new talent coming through the whole organisation needs an overhaul.

  • Great show!

It took me a while to get used to the format but it is a great show, especially when highlighting really difficult topics (such as abuse in irish schools). The lifeline team make sure to cover important issues thoroughly and because of the reach of the show you also find feel-good stories (such as people finding each other on air) in between. Looking forward to the show everyday. Keep on!

Easter Egg Deliveries
Q: What inspired you to start collecting and delivering Easter eggs to hospitals?
Thomas explains it began with his daughter Lauren, who when injured 13 years earlier received Easter eggs and suggested sharing them with hospital children, which grew into a community-wide effort with family, friends, and local businesses.
Deposit exchange Scheme
Q: Can you explain, in simple terms, how the two offers ended up cancelling each other?
The host and John discuss that the Lidl Plus discount and DRS docket seem to be treated as mutually exclusive in some transactions, resulting in one discount being applied while the other is canceled, which can negate the expected savings for customers.
