  • Cuddihy is terrible

Joe was a character and a bit of craic if Cuddihy was a bar of chocolate he’d eat himself. RTE has very little new talent coming through the whole organisation needs an overhaul.

  • Great show!

It took me a while to get used to the format but it is a great show, especially when highlighting really difficult topics (such as abuse in irish schools). The lifeline team make sure to cover important issues thoroughly and because of the reach of the show you also find feel-good stories (such as people finding each other on air) in between. Looking forward to the show everyday. Keep on!

"It's a huge shock to the industry"
Q: Paul, how acute is the crisis facing you and your colleagues given the increasing cost of fuel?
Fuel costs have jumped dramatically, with projections showing significant increases per truck, eroding margins and threatening the viability of many hauliers unless fuel surcharges are embedded in contracts and policy relief is provided.
Accidental Landlord
Q: Did you read from that that you can't say, well, I'm sorry, the kids are in college now, we can't afford the rent in Dublin or Galway or whatever?
What defines hardship? You can be in hardship and still be going out to work every day.
Accidental Landlord
Q: Have you asked them to go? Have you asked them to go now?
Yes, we have to serve them notice.
Accidental Landlord
Q: What happened to the value in that time of the house or what kind of figures you're talking about?
The value went back to a third of what was paid earlier.
"The cartel had a lot of presence where we live..."
Q: Have you been in touch with family at home in Athlone?
Yes, I'd like to say hi to my parents, we're good and peaceful, and this too shall pass.
