Host Murry talks to gay men about the lives they actually lived — the cruising grounds, the contact ads, the saunas, the bars, the loves and losses of decades when being gay meant making it up as you went along with no map and no one to ask. Entertaining, insightful & much needed stories to be heard
Warm, funny and moving - well worth a listen!
These podcasts brim with humanity. Dealing with intimacy, love, privacy and life with such emotion. I have laughed, held my breath and wept with the stories told. The mundanity and extraordinary elements are given space to be amazing. The rapport between the interviewer and the story tellers is wonderfully rich. I cannot wait for the next episode to drop.
As a gay American in my 30s it’s fun to learn about experiences of the older generation. We all know or can easily look up generally what it was like but I enjoy hearing personal perspectives of others. I hope we get more episodes soon
Absolutely brilliant, I particularly loved episode 2 with Ron. What a fascinating insight into his life.
