Miss this show. Wish they would come back.
This was so useful to hear the over view of what I have to dm and those I have run.
It is a relaxed, informal conversation between two good friends that know a lot about D and D. I always enjoy and sometimes learn something.
Even though that is the podcast sign off, this is extremely informative. These two guys have a great rapport and really know their stuff. It is definitely my favorite discussion-based D&D podcast. When one of them goes on a rant, strap in for an entertaining ride. Their takes are usually good and well reasoned, except for the deep hatred of druids.
Been enjoying the campaign reviews, looking forward to going through the back catalog. Good stuff!
Good stuff. I like the reviews the best.
What’s not to dig? The guys talk 5e: classes, rules, and builds. Roleplaying, DM’ing, and campaigns. They keep it light and funny (even when they argue) and I love their digressions into D&D rules history and popular culture. They go into detail, but they don’t get lost in the weeds.
This isn’t D&D University; it’s D&D Happy Hour.
However, if you’re looking for a podcast of gaming sessions, there are plenty of others but this isn’t one.
You guys are funny and intelligent and I really tried to give the podcast a chance, but honestly just tired of hearing abt how awful white people are, it’s funny because you guys have mentioned racism and seem to be against it but then you went and said things like, “honestly if you’re a non-white person and you don’t want to play dnd with white ppl, I totally get it” do you realize how racist that is? If someone said that in reverse you’d be horrified and rightly so.
They have a very fun dynamic, it is a great time when they don’t agree on something. Keep up the good work!
Good podcast , just started listening I enjoy the back and forth conversations keep it up
Playing through dark souls 3 right now. Your homebrews are pretty awesome
As a regular D&D player, I appreciate Till and Tyler’s in-depth conversations about various aspects of optimizing and running a good and courteous campaign. As a newbie DM, I have even more appreciaton for their insight and opinions. I don’t always agree with them, but I always like hearing their thoughts, and have learned more from them than from a dozen other online sources and podcasts.
Thanks for the laughs!
The hosts have a good rapport, the topics are discussed in bite-sized segments, and it’s about D&D without being an AP. I hope this one sticks around!
If you’re not only into playing dnd but also the minutia and rules, great show.
