I’ve been listening to Rock Tale Hour since pretty much he start, and really enjoy it! They tell the stories behind some of music’s greatest rockers and rock songs, the impact that they had on the world, and a bit about how those songs impacted their own lives. They are a joy to listen to, as it is pretty much a group of friends talking about the history of rock music’s greats, swapping their own stories, and occasionally ribbing each other. Too much political opinion
What an awesome podcast, exactly what I was looking for. I really like the Soul Music BBC podcast and this is a better version of that. Can you do Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits?
Just what the world needed: a duplicative "Dad Rock" spiel acting as a Rolling Stone house organ. Take a couple of guys who occasionally listened to their college's radio station and a local AOR FM station and you suddenly have rock & roll experts. Sure you do.
If you want to know the flaws in this 3 and 1/2 stars podcast just listen to the "Smoke on the Water" episode. Why even do an episode on the song if you are so GD clueless? And the list of ten "hardest rocking" songs or whatever they ca... more
