  • Fantastic

What a great host Jesse is. I really appreciate his sense of humour and friendliness towards the guests. His questioning is great and I’ve switched from nine to noon to afternoons as a result.

  • Failed comedian

Apparently a tendency towards inane giggling at inappropriate moments must have been the entry qualification on the day some other idiot hired him. Another road mark on Radio NZ National deciding that their target demographic should be the brain dead.

  • Great show

I live in Sweden now but really enjoyed Jesse’s show in NZ. I love the banter, the variety and the legit music geeking that goes on, great to find I can listen to it on demand from the other side of the world!

Would you want to build a bunker on your property?
Q: Have you seen an increase in inquiries and is there a boom happening?
There has been a strong rise in inquiries over the last month or so, driven by a broader realization of how everyday life depends on vulnerable systems, not a shift toward extreme fear.
Would you want to build a bunker on your property?
Q: How much space do you need to put in for a bunker? What do they look like? And how do you go about designing and building them?
Louis explains that shelters range from small, cabin-like spaces for a family to larger, modular systems with a blast door, air-tight sealing, and optional amenities. Design is driven by the client brief, with a clear performance framework rather than vague terms like disaster-proof. Q: Can you talk about the tactics and what it would take to secure the Strait of Hormuz?
Securing the strait would require a significant, sustained military presence and pre-positioning of hardware, essentially involving an invasion-like approach with a broad coalition, which carries substantial political and strategic risk.
Iran War: Why this conflict isn't ending any time soon
Q: What are the potential off-ramps towards de-escalation or negotiations?
The guest explains that off-ramps exist but require careful coordination and credible signaling from leaders, alongside broader regional engagement and a plausible plan to de-escalate while preserving essential energy flows.
