  • Jim mora

Jim’s program is the only thing I listen to on National radio. It feels like he still talks to the average New Zealander. His interview style is exceptional and he doesn’t seem to think he needs to score personal points but focuses on getting information people want to know about.

Jim is a fantastic interviewer. I only regret that he moved from afternoons and we can’t hear him 5 times a week.

The latest on the Russia-Ukraine war
Q: What is the scale and danger of Russia's mobilization and how might it affect Ukraine and the broader conflict?

Q: So, your purpose in laying out every embarrassing moment of your life was what?

WiFi is watching you: Can routers be used as surveillance tools?
Q: Sean, in what ways do you think being online is getting less safe and are the good guys staying ahead of the bad guys?
The conversation highlights the massive amount of data people generate and share, plus the tools available to combine disparate data into convincing, realistic claims; while risks grow, there is ongoing effort to understand and mitigate them, including AI-driven countermeasures and regulatory pressure.
Local council trials a four-day week - could it work here?
Q: How did this four-day initiative start for your council?
The idea originated from collaboration with elected representatives, analyzing front-counter traffic and costs, and recognizing potential savings by closing the office on Fridays to achieve a form of eight-day or four-day week while maintaining essential services.
