DeAndre gives concise up to date information on points and miles. He is honest and gives you his real opinions on cards, hotels, planes, destinations etc. He has formed a true supportive community and has zero agenda aside from helping others learn. My #1 podcast.

  • A must for the points and miles enthusiast!

This podcast has added great value to my points knowledge. Deandre adds unique perspective and talks about nuanced topics that other people in the space don’t mention and don’t have experience with. Such as renting an RV in New Zealand and planning a destination wedding. The quick hits are also awesome to stay up to date on what’s new in the points world. Just overall great to listen to.

  • Points and Miles + Finances!

Love that this podcast stays on top of ALL points and miles news, with consistent weekly updates. Love that DeAndre also offers perspective for Business owners and finance strategy as well, which is often overlooked in the points and miles space. I can get equally excited about points and miles news while still implementing new ways to weave together a strategy that will keep my long term financial goals in check. THANK YOU!!!

How David Morrow Booked 7 Business Class Seats and More to Travel the World With a Large Family (Ep. 127)
Q: What was your strategy for earning points for the seven-person trip to Asia and Europe?
A long-term approach: rotate through card openings for each family member, leverage business expenses where possible, and use gift card resales and other creative methods to build a large pool of miles, all while pacing openings to align with planned aspirational trips.
How David Morrow Booked 7 Business Class Seats and More to Travel the World With a Large Family (Ep. 127)
Q: How far in advance do you plan, and how do you manage availability for a big group?
Big group bookings come down to timing and flexibility. We aim for the initial schedule release window and monitor multiple release opportunities, often booking in stages and using a mix of one-ways to secure space, then adjust as seats open up.
How David Morrow Booked 7 Business Class Seats and More to Travel the World With a Large Family (Ep. 127)
Q: What do you think most people misunderstand about family travel with points?
Many assume they must replicate the luxury experiences seen by solo travelers or couples, but the smarter path is to start with small, achievable wins, use affordable cabins first, and gradually build toward aspirational travel as you gain experience and confidence.
How Autopilot Helps You Never Overpay for Travel Again w/ Co-Founder Sam Hollander (Ep. 125)
Q: How does Autopilot actually work with bookings, and what creates the savings for the user?
Autopilot imports reservations, tracks prices, and then negotiates with airlines to secure a lower fare when a qualifying price drop occurs; the traveler pays 25% of the savings via a linked card, but only after savings are achieved.
From Getting Stranded in St. Thomas to Flying Emirates, Qsuites & The Residence with Cappy Sinclair (Ep. 123)
Q: How do you handle points sharing with a business partner and keep your finances organized?
They split business-related expenses with shared needs and personal expenses charged to individual accounts, noting the importance of keeping lines clear to avoid bookkeeping headaches as the business scales.
