Patrick. OG.
As a 22 year old guy from Minnesota Patrick is excellent to hear,
For me, anyway. It’s been a fun few decades of listening to him, but the unchained part has taken over the good storyteller Pat. Not sure if it was this pod or his one with Rand or Soucheray, but he cried about “morons” or “idiots” or “jacka**es” over a dozen times in one taping. It’s gotten boring. He should’ve quit the biz after the 2016 Ryder Cup, as he said he would. Further, he just CANNOT let go of his hatred for Kirk Cousins. He brings up Cousins more often than Zulgad brings up Sid Hartm... more
I’ve worked for years in Chicago and Boston, but Minnesota was alway my “home”. I’m amazed at the lack of quality when it comes to our sports media…if Reusse is considered as worthy to have an expert voice, we’re doomed and should be ashamed. He’s always wrong on every opinion, tries to be a vocal bully, and he needs to be called out as the coward that he is. Keep taking shots at everyone from your bully pulpit and cower when you receive push back. Go park yourself in a car wash again! As Sid on... more

The program offers lively, opinionated takes on Minnesota sports across multiple venues, blending deep-dive discussion with long-running storytelling and local banter. Roundtable-style chats cover teams like the Timberwolves, Twins, Vikings, Wild, and Gophers, often weaving in nostalgic memories, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and humor. A few episodes also mix in broader national sports topics, but the core remains rooted in Minnesota's sports landscape, delivered with candid, unvarnished commentary and a strong storytelling flair. Notable is the show's emphasis on personality, history, and regional sports culture, which can be especially appealing to listeners who value colorful analysis and long-form discussion over quick takes.
