I am not polyamorous and thrive in my healthy amazing straight marriage. But I am in love with these humans. I didn’t understand polyamory and since discovering the Daylovers I now think it’s brilliant if done right. I love learning things about my own monogamous marriage because you have to dig deep and communicate proficiently to make polyamory work. They are coming to the conversation with autonomy, curiosity, compassion, respect, love, and humor. 10/10.
Interesting and sometimes raw conversations about figuring out and enjoying the ups and downs of being in relationships, and raising a family, when you’re non-monogamous / polyamorous. Jes’s background in radio and audio production really shows in the pacing, interviews, and cutting. The episodes feel like you’re hanging out with your most fun and clever, open-minded friends talking about real stuff (plus spicy) and inviting cool people they met to come hang out, too.
I really enjoy opening my eyes to other possibilities. We are in an age of cultural transformation and I appreciate Jes and Joe's wollingness to open up their lives so we can talk openly about new ways of being in relationship. Thank you!
Loved the first episode and can’t wait to hear more! You can hear the authenticity in their voices and the dynamic of the three is addictive. Polyamory is fascinating to me; hearing Jes and Joe’s journey with it is comfortable when society tells you it should be uncomfortable and not okay. They’re raw and refreshingly honest! Can’t wait for more!!!
