I’ve listened to Dan Savage, pre-internet, “Savage Love”(I think) on the radio about 25+ years ago.
My boyfriend at the time and I loved his commentary, analysis and advice for all kind of relationships.
Dan is clearly very gifted, articulate even during challenging and delicate conversations, and intelligent and warm.
While I’m in Canada now, when I was in Seattle, I read his column in The Stranger every week. 10/10.
I strongly believe Dan is a very intelligent and talented person with progressive thoughts that are worth hearing. I’ve been a big fan of his show and am a paid subscriber. I constantly rave about the Savage Lovecast and Dan’s impact.

Mostly like the show, but the ads have always been a bit frustrating, and they now include ads for betterhelp… unconscionable in 2025.
This podcast is absolutely phenomenal! It’s therapeutic, extremely educational, and diverse! I honestly never thought a podcast could have such a profound impact on my life! Dan Savage himself, his guest speakers, and callers share and give incredibly level headed advice aided with empathy and compassion!
