I like the concept and they explore fun topics, but there are a lot of errors like calling Gen Xer Justin Trudeau a cringe elder millennial. Not that there isn’t room for debate in generational cohort blur: case in point, Broey Deschanel has the most millennial vocal fry I’ve ever heard. I say this with affection.
I so badly wanted to like this podcast because the premise is right up my alley and because I like Maia’s YouTube channel. Unfortunately, the hosts are mean-spirited, arrogant, and ill informed. Maia in particular seems to greatly overestimate her understanding of American culture and politics.
Quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts! This recent season has really pulled me in. Super interesting topics, & the hosts are very smart & have great takes.
I love that this pod investigates moments that are just far enough in the past to be able to start seeing them objectively, but recent enough that we can remember participating in them.
