Professora no Instituto Superior de Agronomia e investigadora de ciência avícola, desconstrói variados mitos, alguns bastante polémicos, sobre os ovos e as galinhas.
É de Setúbal, mas foi no Porto que encontrou o seu caminho. O seu percurso difícil e a paixão pela comida levaram-no a ter dois restaurantes e uma grande vontade de viajar e conhecer mais mundos e sabores.
É brasileira e veio para Portugal tirar um mestrado, há 17 anos. Acabou por ficar e por dedicar a sua vida à restauração, mas sobretudo aos doces. Diz que o mundo é um lugar melhor porque os brigadeiros existem.
O seu gosto pela comida levou-a criar um blog. Depois, concorreu ao Masterchef e daí saltou para o Altis Belém, onde esteve cinco anos. Seguiu-se o Musa e o colectivo New Kids on the Block. Até ao Vago, onde é hoje chef.
