  • Like a den of baby raccoons!

Listening to these guys is like listening to a den of rambunctious baby raccoons vying for the attention of mamma raccoon. What a racket!! But in a good, sweet, adorable way. Frankly, if I haven’t watched the movie they are discussing I have no idea by the end what the entire plot was about. They banter, interrupt each other, digress endlessly, laugh, tease and poke at each other. But I don’t care. I absolutely love them…like listening to siblings in the backyard BBQing a slab of ribs. What’s up guys

Loving the pods, I am a kennel technician at a rescue/boarding organization so my earbuds are protection against the loud barking I am around, so I can technically say your podcast has saved my hearing!

Of course I have another horror movie question for Joe, but am also interested in what all of you say concerning the trilogy of the Hatchet movies. I recently watched all three as I’m going back and discovering movies of this genre I never saw growing up, and all I have to say ... more

  • Reel good stuff

My go-to podcast to listen to while I’m stocking shelves at work! Usually get 2-3 episodes in before our doors open. Discovered these guys a couple of months ago through their Conclave discussion and have gone down the Reel Spoilers rabbit hole of episodes since. From the random tangents that have nothing to do with the film being discussed to the BA-GAWK censors to the actual spoiler discussions, this show helps me get through my mornings!

KRAVEN THE HUNTER w/ Matt F Basler
Q: What are the key problems you found in the film's characterization, particularly for Kraven?
The characterization of Kraven was fundamentally flawed as the film transforms him from a hunter into a conservationist, stripping away his original defining traits, which makes him less relatable as a protagonist.
