  • “The Real MFA”

Michael, who I have never met, connects and reconnects me to an array of new contemporary artists working through the lens and through photography, as well as many artists from the photography hall of fame. I find the candor and openness to discuss personal histories informative, refreshing, reassuring and inspiring. I think an alternative show title could be, “The Real MFA”. Thank you Michael and SVA for sharing this podcast with the world.

  • Great show for amateurs and pros alike

The show features in depth interviews with a broad variety of photography professionals. The subjects selected are diverse, as is their work, and the host asks the kind of questions that get them to open up about the creative process. A good choice for people who want to take deep dives, but if you are just looking for photography tops and tricks it won’t be useful.

  • Varied and interesting

After listening to nearly all the episodes, I think the best part is the way they let such a diverse range of photographers really be themselves and talk openly about their work without judgment. Intelligent questions without being condescending or judgmental. Looking forward to more. How is Kai still single?
