  • So not good

It’s a family affair and that isn’t good. Too much of your kid and silliness doesn’t entertain. Stopped listening and thought maybe you guys improved, but I didn’t think you could get worse… well, you proved me wrong. So. I will continue to listen to other podcasts.

  • Too many ads

This show is fantastic. One of the best paranormal podcasts out there. I’ve been listening to it for years. But, there’s about 10 min of ghost stories and the rest of the podcasts is chocked full of back-to-back repetitive ads.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Something Dark in the Woods, Part Two | The Grave Talks
Q: How do you balance skepticism with belief when investigating?
I balance it through rigorous study of folklore and history, triangulating anecdotes with artifact and location research while maintaining protective practices and remaining open to what the environment presents without forcing conclusions.
Something Dark in the Woods, Part Two | The Grave Talks
Q: What drew you back to Old House Woods after the initial encounter?
A combination of intuition, continued dream experiences, and a determination to verify what I felt was real led me back, plus a belief that history and spirits deserve a closer look to understand how past events influence present hauntings.
The Influence of Evil, Part Two | The Grave Talks
Q: How do you approach distinguishing psychological issues from possession in practice?
The guest explains that exorcisms often involve collaboration with medical professionals, including psychiatrists, to rule out psychological conditions before proceeding, ensuring a responsible, holistic approach to deliverance.
The Influence of Evil, Part Two | The Grave Talks
Q: What makes a game or media item potentially dangerous for children from a demonology perspective?
The discussion suggests that the combination of fear-inducing content, subliminal messaging, and occult themes can traumatize children and may make them more vulnerable to demonic influence, especially if the content resonates with their emotions and imagination.
The Darkening, Part One | The Grave Talks
Q: Sure, so when you went there and you had the personal interview and you determined, okay, there's something going on here, we need to look into this deeper.
The interviewer describes combining in-depth questions (about duration of activity, nightly patterns, smells, and other indicators) with a formal interview and then bringing in his wife, who is psychic, to validate whether the situation is traditional or demonic. This two-step approach helps establish credibility and guide the next steps.
