今回のゲストは、長野県大町市の木崎湖畔にある荒山林業の荒山あゆみさん。山主で8代目の荒山雄大さんと一緒に荒山林業を営んでおられます。荒山林業さんは、自分たちの持ち山で森を育てながら林業を営んでいる、いわゆる林家（りんか）さんです。
今回は、今年5月に荒山林業さんが企画された集材（しゅうざい：伐採した木材を一定の場所に集めること）の見学会にお邪魔して、その作業の後、森の中に停めた車の中でお話しました。

今回のゲストは、在野のクマの研究家であり、今は森や木に関わる仕事をしている安江悠真さん。数年前からヒダクマとはクマ繋がりで仲良くさせていただいて一緒にイベントをしていたりします。この春、安江さんとクマの目線を疑似体験しながら森について考える体験プログラムを企画しました。プログラムを担当するヒダクマの松山由樹も一緒に、その打合せを公開収録。第1回目は、安江さんが学生時代に東北で行っていたクマの研究のこと、そしてなぜいま飛騨で林業に関わっているのかについておうかがいしました。
