ということで、今回は江の川流域の温泉についてお話しています。

秋といえば食欲の秋、読書の秋、スポーツの秋、いろんな秋がありますよね。
江の川流域においては、秋といえば神楽の秋でもあります。
今回は、そんな神楽の中でも特に神秘的でプリミティヴな「大元神楽」についてのお話です。
収録の数日前に邑南町の日貫地区で鑑賞した大元神楽の感想を交えながら、その一端を垣間見ていきます。
これまで番組の中でも、船にまつわる神様のお話はいくつかでてきました。
今回のお話もそれに近いのですが、船霊さまはすこし特殊です。
非常にユニークでスピリチュアルな船霊さまについて垣間見ていこうと思います。
言わずと知れた「歌聖」である柿本人麻呂。
教科書にも登場する人麻呂ですが、その生涯は謎に包まれています。
今回は、そんな非常にミステリアスな人麻呂が晩年過ごしたといわれている旧石見地方にのこる様々な伝説についてのお話を聞いていきたいと思います。
高級食材である「上海蟹」、ご存知でしょうか？
わたしは一度もたべたことはありませんが、そんな高級食材と同じ種類のカニが江の川には住んでいるそうです。
こちらでは「ツガニ」とも呼ばれています。
今回は、そんな美味しいカニがそのへんで獲ることができるというおいしい話を聞いていきます。
「えんこう」というのは漢字では「猿候」と書きます。
おそらく聞いたことのない方が多いと思いますが、実はえんこうというのはカッパのことです。あの妖怪のカッパです。
今回はそんなカッパにまつわる様々な民俗学的なお話を聞いていきます。
石見地方では当たり前の風景である赤い瓦の家々。
この特徴的な瓦産業がなぜ栄えることとなったのか、その理由は200万年以上前にさかのぼります。
今回は、おなじみ地質学的な話から文化の話まで幅広い内容になっております。

実は、バリと江の川流域というのは関係性があって、美郷町という江の川中流域にある町ではバリ島マス村と30年近く友好協定が結ばれています。
