前回は、お酒のお話を聞いていきましたが、今回はお酒造りに欠かせないお水についてのお話です。
江の川流域にはいくつか名水とよばれる水がありますが、今回は主に可愛川流域にある「よみがえりの水」についてお話しています。
近年、日本酒は海外で「SAKE」と呼ばれて大変人気だそうです。米と水だけでつくられる日本酒はヴィーガンの方に注目されているとか。
江の川流域でも造り酒屋が多くあります。
今回はそんな多様なお酒についてのお話を聞いていきたいと思います。
広島県北広島町にある「テングシデ」はイヌシデという木の突然変異種と言われており、世界でも非常に珍しい、ここでしか見られない大変貴重な植物です。
また、普通、突然変異種というのはその形質が次世代に引き継がれることは稀なことで、一世代で終わることが多いそうです。
なので、このテングシデの群落は国の天然記念物にも指定され、大切に守られています。
今回は、そんな摩訶不思議で神秘的な植物について垣間見ていこうと思います。
江の川のおもな支流は3つあります。
そのうち最も長い支流が江の川の本流となります。
それが、可愛川(えのかわ)です。
今回から、可愛川を下りながらお話していきます。
そこで、まずは江の川の源流の一滴を探しにいったお話を聞いていきたいと思います。

江の川流域においては、秋といえば神楽の秋でもあります。
今回は、そんな神楽の中でも特に神秘的でプリミティヴな「大元神楽」についてのお話です。
収録の数日前に邑南町の日貫地区で鑑賞した大元神楽の感想を交えながら、その一端を垣間見ていきます。
これまで番組の中でも、船にまつわる神様のお話はいくつかでてきました。
今回のお話もそれに近いのですが、船霊さまはすこし特殊です。
非常にユニークでスピリチュアルな船霊さまについて垣間見ていこうと思います。
言わずと知れた「歌聖」である柿本人麻呂。
教科書にも登場する人麻呂ですが、その生涯は謎に包まれています。
今回は、そんな非常にミステリアスな人麻呂が晩年過ごしたといわれている旧石見地方にのこる様々な伝説についてのお話を聞いていきたいと思います。
