別のポッドキャストでおすすめされていたのをきっかけに聞き始めました。
徹底的なリサーチに基づいて、物事の背景からじっくりしっかり説明してくださるので、全く知らなかった世界への解像度がグッと高まり、すっかりお気に入りになってしまいました。
いまでは毎日の通勤のお供に欠かさず聞いています。
バックナンバーを遡るように聞き進めていますが、特にリンカン、項羽と劉邦、伊藤野枝がとても面白かったです。
もしリクエストできるなら、いつかアイヌと北海道の歴史についても取り上げていただけたら嬉しく思います。
これからも楽しみにしています。

若い頃、歴史が苦手だった。年代や王の名を丸覚えすることに意味を感じず意欲が沸かなかった…。Youtubeで多くの塾講師chを見て大人になって歴史の面白さを知り、他の歴史解説コンテンツをいくつか見て、ここのたどり着いた。あらゆる面でコテンラジオがダントツだった。（その次がゆる言語学ラジオ）。早く観ればよかった。
主に音声だけ。なのに、個性が違う3司会による解説がすごく効いてて絵が浮かび上がるようだ。
歴史ものSNSにはフェイクや陰謀路で溢れている…その方が面白がられ収益があるからだろう。コテンラジオにはそんな不誠実さはない。引用文献も紹介されて論文レベル…固くならないよう無邪気なツッコミ司会、その次に分析司会、被せて学者声の司会がその場を知的にまとめ、ジワる。このパターンが素晴らしい。
ニコラテスラからハマったが、面白くて、過去音声も漁っている。若い時に出会ってればどれほど人生変わっただろう。

深井さんは、もともと Greedy などの英単語を挟む傾向がありましたが、最近は Fanatic のように英語ネイティブでもあまり使われない英単語の多用が目立ち、聞いていてノイズに感じます。
一方、日本語では「阻害」といった特定の語を繰り返し使うため、語彙の幅が狭く映ります。
多様な日本語ネイティブリスナーにとって理解しやすい語彙を選んでいただければ、さらに学びやすくなると思います。
内容自体は非常に示唆に富み、勉強になるだけに、この点が大変惜しく感じられます。
