I'll be honest, my general interest in Kaiju films is less than average, but that only speaks volumes to how nice this podcast is if it managed to get me hooked on it from the very first minutes. Rigorous, yet still highly entertaining this first episode announces a monster series in itself.
I don’t listen to that many film podcasts. Let’s just say I’ve been burned before...a lot. This is the first one to get me excited in a *very* long time. And this is from someone who’s not a big kaiju fan! more
Absolutely love this podcast and the dynamic between Calvin – the kaiju newbie but veteran film critic, and Stephen – the colorful kaiju expert and film enthusiast. It’s informative, funny, and insightful, and such a fun way to absorb the kaiju universe whether you’re new to it or already well-versed. Great energy and I can’t wait for the episodes to come!
