Lovely program that talks about BS other news outlets can't. I love the reporting on urbanism issues, rent control, political games, city-life, etc, even if I have never visited Berlin. I'm more likely to do so, and it's good to know that the problems in my city are not that different, since the hosts make the stories more human. My gateway episodes were 'How to Eff Up and Airport", great journalism. Germans are really just like everyone else in the world.
I don’t live in Berlin, but it’s a city I Iove. I find this podcast incredibly well researched and informative and with plenty of fun as well. The presenters are all first class and very knowledgeable. It covers wide ranging aspects of life in Berlin and comments on many facets of German culture. Absolutely excellent work guys!
I really wanted to like this show. Unfortunately, on topic after topic the hosts show that they’re poorly educated, highly opinionated and downright anti intellectual. This is particularly true of the British girl host who doesn’t seem to be able to even occasionally hit a true note. It’s all leftist rants. Sorry guys, this is just terribly tossey.
