  • Lovely program that talks about BS other news outlets can't. I love the reporting on urbanism issues, rent control, political games, city-life, etc, even if I have never visited Berlin. I'm more likely to do so, and it's good to know that the problems in my city are not that different, since the hosts make the stories more human. My gateway episodes were 'How to Eff Up and Airport", great journalism. Germans are really just like everyone else in the world.

  • The Maisie’s Voice Episode Is Incredible

I don’t live in Berlin, but it’s a city I Iove. I find this podcast incredibly well researched and informative and with plenty of fun as well. The presenters are all first class and very knowledgeable. It covers wide ranging aspects of life in Berlin and comments on many facets of German culture. Your Maisie episode was extremely powerful and managed to be both desperately sad but ultimately uplifting as well. • 100% speculation from people without any real knowledge

I really wanted to like this show. Unfortunately, on topic after topic the hosts show that they’re poorly educated, highly opinionated and downright anti intellectual. This is particularly true of the British girl host who doesn’t seem to be able to even occasionally hit a true note. It’s all leftist rants. Sorry guys, this is just terribly tossey.

Q: What is the role of larger communities in helping to support independent artists?
If big institutions invite people who are not represented and curate independently, it's a good way to transfer money to those communities.
"Can We Support Subcultures?" RSxEAB Season 2: Saving Culture
Q: How do you encourage people to become a part of a scene or get started?
I just have the two most important words I use the most now, it's like education and psychotherapy.
Windmills of Our Minds | Lakeside Film Festival | Valentina Zalevska
Q: When it comes to the submissions and the films in your festival, is it Ukrainian filmmakers? What defines a Ukrainian film for the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin?
The main criteria is the context. It should have some Ukrainian-related context.
Windmills of Our Minds | Lakeside Film Festival | Valentina Zalevska
Q: So how's it going as a Ukrainian Film Festival curator?
It's pretty tough to promote any international film now, as you know, we are not doing good in the sense of bringing the films to the cinema.
RSxEAB "Everything is Culture!"
Q: How do we support these cultures in a way that makes them progressive and inclusive?
By ensuring they have the same resources and platforms available as their male counterparts, women's sports thrive.
