This is not a podcast about "how" to live simply, but "why" live simply. My aim is to show how the act of simple living can make your life, and the environment we all live in much better! We can all be homesteaders if we live in an appartement, a suburban house, or a rural plot!

I look forward to each new episode of this podcast. The setting is calming — I feel like we are together by the fire chatting (although best done this way as I’m allergic to cats and he has a few that wind their way into the recordings). more
It’s a joy to listen to this Simple Living podcast and not be sold on a “Simple Living” product. Ray Lovegrove provides an authentic voice with a gentle nudge toward the North Star of simple living. I appreciate the cultural references to the Amish, Quakers ( I live in Amish country) and I often look into many of the authors mentioned. Thank you for your perspective on simple living, it is inspiring.
I am a chronic podcast subscriber then unsubscriber. I get bored easily- no one’s fault. I’ve only listened to a handful of episodes but I can 100% tell I am totally hooked. I am constantly on the lookout for a new episode. His information is incredible insightful and helpful and his voice is so calming and kind. I want to sit and talk with this man for hours and hours. I could learn so much. 10+ year podcast listener, first ever podcast review, 5 solid stars.
This is such an enjoyable podcast, just sincere, conversational, and useful!
The conversational tone and thoughtfulness from the host make this a podcast I look forward to every week. more
