Been listening to this podcast over the past 10 years and have really enjoyed it. These recent podcasts released on the topic of the alleged daycare fraud have been a bit puzzling because Joshua is using unproven claims from a journalist without sources to support his existing beliefs related to social welfare programs. While Joshua has valuable insights for how to live a rich and meaningful life, it appears he’s opting into accepting the alleged daycare fraud as truth while nothing has been pro... more
Joshua has a great show with timely advice and eternal wisdom. I’ve been listening for many years and have greatly benefited from his advice. Whether it is financial, insurance related or even homeschooling and teaching children to learn other languages.
Joshua is rare in that he is willing to share where he thinks he could have done better in his journey and does that humility.
Joshua’s critics are mostly critical of his conservative Christian worldview. If you don’t agree with conservative o... more
Great information, wonderful host, enjoyable conversations on the Q&A!
Wonderful podcast overthought at times but relentlessly enjoyable
This is my favorite podcast that I follow. Joshua is brilliant and incredibly knowledgeable on so many different topics. He has been very influential for me in many ways, but particularly in homeschooling. He’s so interesting to listen to and I’m beyond grateful for all of the amazing content he keeps putting out. You don’t hear many of these ideas anywhere else and that’s what I love about this podcast. It’s always fresh, original, and fascinating.

This program blends personal finance, lifestyle design, and family-centric strategy with a clear emphasis on long-term financial independence. Episodes frequently tackle real-world planning: marriage and family dynamics, homeschooling and education, entrepreneurship, and prudent charity, all from a practical, principle-based viewpoint. A notable thread is how personal virtues, responsibility, and character shape money outcomes, parenting decisions, and lifestyle choices. Innovations in productivity, AI adoption, and modern work-life balance are also explored, often through a Christian-informed lens. The show stands out for connecting dense financial concepts to everyday life, family missions, and community-building, while inviting listeners... more
