The episode with Beth, the Health Detective, was exactly what I needed to hear. Pain is a message, not something to suppress. The details about bioenergetic testing were really cool. I liked the discussion about the emotional components of pain. Highly recommend this podcast for anyone on a healing journey!

  • Antivax in disguise

Supeficially sounding like a medical podcast (even though many terms used incorrectly if you listen carefully) it quickly drifts into “masks don’t work”, “vaccines are to blame”, “you need to detox” etc. Why the host is licensed is beyond me.

Stem Cells, Biohacking & Chronic Pain Recovery with Eric Headlee
Q: How important is addressing mental health in chronic pain management, and what role did EMDR play for you?
He emphasizes that emotional patterns and trauma can profoundly influence pain, and EMDR helped him resolve past traumas, which he believes contributed to breaking cycles of pain and addiction; mental health is integral to physical recovery.
Stem Cells, Biohacking & Chronic Pain Recovery with Eric Headlee
Q: What distinguishes donor-derived stem cells from autologous stem cells, and why did you choose donor-derived cells?
Eric describes the difference between using one's own cells and donated cells, arguing that donor-derived stem cells can be more active and effective in certain contexts, though they carry different regulatory and ethical considerations; he opted for donor cells due to perceived higher regenerative potential.
Stem Cells, Biohacking & Chronic Pain Recovery with Eric Headlee
Q: What catalyzed the shift from considering knee replacement to trying stem cell injections?
Eric explains that after enduring years of injections and surgeries, he wanted to avoid another major operation and its long recovery, so he researched alternatives and chose mesenchymal stem cell injections as a potentially regenerative option.
Resilience Through Chronic Illness: Brad Pitzele on Pain, Fatigue, Mindset & Healing
Q: How has your understanding of pain changed through your journey?
Pain is a feedback system that combines physical, chemical, and psychological signals; by addressing inflammation, oxygen delivery, and mitochondrial energy, you can transform how pain presents and how your body heals.
Resilience Through Chronic Illness: Brad Pitzele on Pain, Fatigue, Mindset & Healing
Q: What was the turning point that led you to look beyond traditional medicine?
The diagnosis of melanoma and the realization that the available drug options were either ineffective or dangerous pushed me to seek a third path and to explore alternatives that addressed the root causes of illness, not just symptoms.
