Please work on your mouth noise. The constant swallowing sounds was very distracting. It was very hard to listen to the content.

  • Great content, poor sound quality

I love ICE and the content they create but this podcast is super hard to listen to. The intro music and voices are loud but the actual content is so low that I often end up turning it off. Just get your podcast editor to equalize the volume levels, super easy fix.

  • Great Content

PTonICE is a great podcast, always looking to provide quality information. If I could afford to go to their courses every day, I would; but this is the next best thing. Thank you ICE faculty

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 1964 - Mastery, simplicity, and underutilized tempo work
Q: What was the biggest disagreement that you and Jess had on setting up the clinic?
Cody describes a situation where he wanted the walls painted white, but Jess insisted on black, leading to a compromise after four years.
Episode 1958 - Small things create big success
Q: What drove your focus on creating a unique clinic space?
We needed a way to differentiate ourselves beyond just providing good physical therapy. It's about creating an environment that makes patients want to spend time there.
Episode 1956 - OT 2.0: adapt & modify vs. restore & rehab
Q: What do you feel is the primary gap in OT training compared to PT when it comes to rehabilitation?
There's a heavy focus on adaptation rather than restorative approaches in OT school.
Episode 1954 - Christina Prevett: woman on a research mission
Q: What got you into researching high-load resistance training for older adults?
I kept seeing a problem where people would do manual therapy and strength training, but they would decondition quickly afterward, returning to the clinic.
Episode 1954 - Christina Prevett: woman on a research mission
Q: What is your 5K lifetime goal as far as getting, you've been running, I've seen it, on the gram?
I'm prepping for a marathon, but I'm going for the participation medal.
