Please work on your mouth noise. The constant swallowing sounds was very distracting. It was very hard to listen to the content.

  • Great content, poor sound quality

I love ICE and the content they create but this podcast is super hard to listen to. The intro music and voices are loud but the actual content is so low that I often end up turning it off. Just get your podcast editor to equalize the volume levels, super easy fix.

  • Great Content

PTonICE is a great podcast, always looking to provide quality information. If I could afford to go to their courses every day, I would; but this is the next best thing. Thank you ICE faculty

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

ICE Physio in the Wild: In-Network Edition
Q: Can you just give the listeners a great overview of what your practice looks like and how you implement the ICE Physio methodology in an in-network setting?
The clinic uses a team-based model with an athletic trainer acting as a care extender during the eval and ongoing sessions. Patients receive an hour-long eval plus ongoing 30-minute follow-ups, with one-on-one care complemented by Bree, the athletic trainer, who documents and supports the plan. This structure keeps the patient connected to the same care team while leveraging PTs, PTAs, and ATCs to deliver a comprehensive, evidence-informed plan within insurance constraints.
Episode 1983: Leveraging Technology to Tame the Chaos
Q: How do you handle communications efficiently when there are many platforms involved?
Use automation for initial replies (ManyChat), schedule emails to align with blocked time (Boomerang), and push key updates through a consolidated app to minimize scattered messages and reduce cognitive load.
Episode 1983: Leveraging Technology to Tame the Chaos
Q: What is the main benefit of calendar sharing and a unified scheduling system?
Sharing calendars and using a unified system ensures everyone knows where others are, prevents schedule clashes, and supports timely communication, which is essential as teams grow and roles diversify.
Episode 1978 - Accounting 101: Start keeping more of the money that you make
Q: What are some things that jump out at you?
The biggest one for me is structure. Some people jump to the right structure at the wrong time.
Episode 1978 - Accounting 101: Start keeping more of the money that you make
Q: What should those be?
A reasonable wage for a PT is gonna be around there.
