Thank you for sharing the victims story. These people deserve to be heard. So many others who can no longer speak for themselves. This is a real tragedy and I’m so heartbroken for the families involved.
I wish it weren't quite so dumbed down.
It almost feels as though this podcast is geared toward an elementary/early high school level understanding. I feel like I am being spoon-fed information by a sweet elementary school teacher narrating stories with her shocked intonations .
Please have some faith in our ability to understand and have some knowledge of many of the elements that are covered. It feels a little insulting to be talked to as we are. Jmho.
CARL G. JUNG, I wonder if he knew who this tool was? He would have been so devastated..and he had to hide a lot of his work because of ‘scientific ‘ Dr’s like Cameron, who were garbage.
It shows the difference between true heroes and real villains.
Loved the show. The people who were affected by this deserve to be heard. The show itself could have been condensed into less episodes. The repeat statements and information made it feel less valuable. Maybe more focus on editing? Overall, it was great. Thank you for sharing the information. From one caring and curious mind to another.
Very interesting story, I hope they get what they deserve for doing that though

This series investigates historically significant, ethically fraught psychiatric experiments and the people affected by them. Across episodes, listeners are taken through survivor memories, archival documentation, and expert context to examine how memory, coercive medical practices, and political secrecy intersected with Cold War-era psychology. While many episodes center on Indigenous histories, institutional abuse, and the long shadows of research like MKUltra, the narrative consistently foregrounds personal testimonies and accountability, offering a gripping, documentary-style look at a troubling chapter of medical history. The show likely appeals to listeners who enjoy investigative journalism, historical true crime, and conversations a... more
