  • Great content but needs audio leveling

I love the content it’s top notch, but the audio volumes are way off and make it terrible to listen to. Run a compressor or balance the audio level before publishing please! Many times the audio is so quiet I have to turn the volume all the way up.

  • Actionable Advice from REAL PMs

This podcast is a breath of fresh air because unlike others where we hear hours of theory-ranting and geeking around virtue-signalling frameworks and annoying Silicon-Valley echo chambers, Aakash focuses on practical, actionable advice from seasoned experts who are practicing their craft. I'm learning a lot from his recent focus on AI, separating hype from what really matters to product folks and how they can ascend in their careers by embracing the tech. Really liked the prototyping episode and... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How a VP of Product Uses Claude Without Producing Slop | Matthew Wensing, Customer.io
Q: Can you walk us through how you built the all-hands presentation in a single morning, and where Claude contributed vs where you led?
He described starting with raw materials from prior materials (like demo day recordings and slides), using Zoom transcripts, then guiding Claude to reshape content, organize by themes, and craft a cohesive narrative; the focus was on framing, audience, and the final talk track, with careful, iterative editing and validation to avoid over-reliance on AI.
How to Use Codex Like an OpenAI PM | Abhi Muchhal, PM OpenAI (ex-Meta and Nubank)
Q: How does Codex change the traditional PRD process for a PM at OpenAI?
Codex shifts the emphasis from drafting static documents to creating working prototypes and companion docs that explain the prototype. The product itself, demonstrated through prototypes, serves as the primary communication and alignment tool, while accompanying docs provide the necessary context and FAQs.
Claude Code for Non-Technical PMs, with Andre Albuquerque
Q: How do you start moving a non-technical PM into a builder role on Monday morning?
Start by asking to be a collaborator on a low-risk repository, pick an old backlog feature, and have Claude Code build it. Use the four-level path to incrementally gain confidence, get comfortable with GitHub, and gradually incorporate more infrastructure and automation through Lovable, Claude Code, Vercel, and Cursor.
Claude Code for Non-Technical PMs, with Andre Albuquerque
Q: What is the biggest problem non-technical PMs face in their roles?
Non-technical PMs are often stuck in bureaucratic routines like managing backlogs and decks, dependent on engineers to push code, which prevents them from actually building and delivering features. The guest suggests a path to become builders by adopting AI-assisted workflows and bridging to technical tools.
How PMs Ship 100K Lines of Code at OpenAI with Ryan Lopopolo, Member of Technical Staff
Q: How do you restructure roles and collaboration to support this new way of working?
Roles become more collaborative and agent-centric rather than siloed: PMs, designers, and engineers contribute to the same code-based artifact, sharing context and feedback through the harness, tests, and documentation, which increases throughput and empathy.
