Geez, the mics are all off. One I can hear, the other breaks my ear drums.
If you enjoyed the show Severance but found yourself thinking “I wish i could have this explained to me by 3 room temperature IQ Hollywood press mutants” this is the podcast for you!
Love the topic and had high hopes, but the audio experience is horrible. The producers should use better quality microphones, balance the audio dynamics, and coach the hosts how to speak more evenly. They go from whispering to yelling in your ears, really uncomfortable to listen to this.
Aside from the audio the rest isn’t bad.
Unfortunately this is one of the only podcasts that has discourse about a truly complex show. The hosts are vapid and incurious, unable to analyze or do any critical thinking beyond the obvious surface level of the show. Charmless humans, their interview skills are so lacking that when they speak to the actors on the show, they are only able to draw out very basic responses from these talented artists.
