The Amityville Horror: For God's Sake, Get Out!
Q: What is your overall take on the film as a cultural artifact?
The movie works as a rich text that not only delivers scares but also serves as a lens into 1970s anxieties about gender roles, family dynamics, religion, and the reliability of true-crime narratives, while remaining a touchstone that influenced later horror in surprising ways.
Krampus: The Spirit of Christmas
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up, little girl?
I want to be a mid 30s podcast bitch.
Krampus: The Spirit of Christmas
Q: Zach, did you guys put up a tree?
No, I don't think we've put up a big tree since his buddy electrocuted himself chewing on a wire.
Krampus: The Spirit of Christmas
Q: So, what do you guys think of the movie overall?
I liked it. The cast was really good. The comedy was right up my alley and I liked the visual effects.
Favorite Soundtrack Moments in Horror
Q: What is the band you default to these days? Still Tori Amos?
Caitlin admits to thinking more about Tori Amos lately but mentions that The Mountain Goats have become her go-to band at home.
