Straight chilling is the best horror review pod cast around. The guys are insightful and hilarious, the sound board is great, (my favorite segment is totally time for trivia) but overall the podcast makes you feel like you are just hanging out with your friends dissecting horror movies. Keep up the great work guys!

  • Good, smart, funny stuff

A great, funny, insightful show. I like how it isn’t predictable as to who will like which movie. Randy should stop talking over people and not argue so stubbornly - is painful listening to him force his opinions which are too emotional. Justin and Bob are hilarious and they understand how to critique.

Overall a great, funny, insightful show. I like how it isn’t predictable as to who will like which movie. Randy needs to calm down and not argue so stubbornly because it gets painful at times. Justin and Bob are generally hilarious.

Interview with Brea Grant
Q: Which segment would be the easiest for you to survive if you had to go through one, and why?
The last segment at the coffee shop, which centers on a unionizing group, felt like the one that would provide the strongest sense of solidarity and support, making it comparatively survivable through collective action and shared purpose, even though each segment presents different challenges.
Interview with Takashi Miike
Q: How do you manage budget and creative freedom across diverse projects?
He believes budget is a tool to be used wisely, not a limiter, and that thoughtful budgeting allows him to create memorable experiences even with constraints.
Interview with Takashi Miike
Q: In your view, why do audiences keep returning to horror and violence in your work?
For Miike, the answer lies in the way character-driven storytelling across different genres resonates with audiences, not simply the label of the genre; he emphasizes focusing on the character's desires and the human emotion behind violence or fear.
#562 – Bugonia (2025)
Q: Would you recommend folks at home check out Bugonia?
Yes, I would recommend Bugonia because I think Yorgos is firing on all cylinders here for the most part.
#559 – Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025)
Q: Nicole, why don't you give them the lowdown and tell them what you're all about?
I have a show, as Bob just mentioned, Light and Shadow, a horror podcast. It's a monthly show. Sometimes it's just me. Sometimes I have a guest.
