  • Six Pack Clickbate

Wow this show has plummeted since it became “The Six Pack”, the Peacock & Williamson Show seemed to cover actual news while The Six Pack seems to be purely how many clicks can we get. No matter how unhinged a story will be on here if it generates traffic. This seems to be Peacock’s MO now as the 49ers is headed down the same path. A sad demise

  • Great guys, knowledgeable

Love these guys but it gets frustrating that the podcast comes out at different times each day. I look forward to listening on my way home from work and most of the time time it’s there but sometimes it comes out much later and then I miss the episode. If they dropped the podcast at the same time every day, it would be great.

  • Stop Apologizing

Best NFl podcast. Period! But….Matt, I’ve been listening to you podcast for like a decade and you always apologize for being a Steelers guy stop apologizing it’s fine. Everybody has their team you’re wasting your breath and your time when you apologize every damn episode just be yourself and be proud. Same for Brian’s and the 49ers. Every podcaster has their favorite. It’s ok! You guys are the best.

  • Thank goodness!!

With the downward slide of the locked on network, skidding down fox news/espn type commentary, the fact that these two OGs are back together is a miracle to say the least! This is real sports commentary!!

  • Too Bias

They’re not very objective as far as I’m concerned… they have their favorite players and their favorite teams, and they make it very obvious….

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

CHAOS: Myles Garrett Contract Leaves TRADE Door Wide Open, Could Puka Nacua SQUANDER $100 Payday?
Q: Would you prefer picks 2 and 64 or picks 32 and 33 in a hypothetical draft trade scenario?
The hosts lean toward the belief that picking 2 alone holds substantial value and could be worth more than the combined value of 32 and 33, making a trade-down to gain additional capital at 64 attractive but still less preferable than holding the top pick.
COMBINE MAILBAG: Arvell Reese Giving Scouts What They Want, What REALLY MATTERS in Indianapolis
Q: If your team of scouts is convinced a quarterback will be no worse than the 18th best quarterback in the NFL, but no better than the 15th best, is he worth the top 10 pick?
It's a hard question regarding value; a high-floor but low-ceiling quarterback might not be worth a high pick.
COMBINE MAILBAG: Arvell Reese Giving Scouts What They Want, What REALLY MATTERS in Indianapolis
Q: What drills matter most at what positions?
The most important drills vary, but speed for offensive linemen and the ability to convert speed to power for edge rushers are critical.
QB MOVEMENT: New Homes for Quarterbacks Malik Willis, Mac Jones, Anthony Richardson, Malik Willis
Q: Why do teams seem to draft poorly?
Peacock suggests it's due to human error and the complexity of evaluating players as flawed individuals.
QB MOVEMENT: New Homes for Quarterbacks Malik Willis, Mac Jones, Anthony Richardson, Malik Willis
Q: Where will all of the quarterbacks go and which teams need them?
Peacock predicts several quarterbacks will land in notable positions including Malik Willis with the Cardinals, Mendoza with the Raiders, and Kyler Murray with the Jets.
