  • Life saving

I discovered Michelle and her podcast when my daughter was 2,5 y.o. And it’s been life changing. She helps me to see my default reactive patterns and how they play out in my relationship with my child. I also learn not to judge myself too harshly for mistakes and it helps me to be kinder towards my daughter. I’m fully committed to parenting without punishment and bribing and prioritizing my relationship over agenda. I highly recommend this podcast and Michelle as a coach to those parents that fe... more

  • Podcasts are a joke

All she talks about is joining her group and buying her courses. Doesn't even give advice in her podcast. Felt like a huge waste of my time.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Case Study: What To Do When "Special Time" Backfires [Fan Favorite]
Q: How do we get to this point where we mutually agree that it's going to end?
Finding a mutual agreement to end special time involves calm communication and empathy towards the children's feelings, showing that it's normal for them to experience disappointment when it ends.
Are Schools Failing Your Child? Maybe Homeschooling Is the Solution
Q: Tell me about the socialization part; people worry about that piece too.
The idea that homeschoolers are socially inept is largely a myth. Homeschooled children often excel in social interactions because they are exposed to a variety of age groups and experiences outside of a traditional classroom setting.
Are Schools Failing Your Child? Maybe Homeschooling Is the Solution
Q: What do you see homeschooling kids? How are they different than kids who go into the traditional system? What do you see the benefits of homeschooling?
Homeschoolers tend to maintain their creativity and independence in thinking. They are generally more excited about learning and better at engaging in conversation.
Are Schools Failing Your Child? Maybe Homeschooling Is the Solution
Q: What do you see is hard for parents? What do they have to let go of? What are the challenges with parents that want to do homeschooling?
From my experience, the biggest obstacle is fear, specifically the fear of not being able to teach their own children and feeling they have to follow traditional educational systems.
Parenting with Menopause Doesn't Have to Be Miserable! Learn How to Feel Great
Q: If you could recommend just the top three things you think women who are going through menopause should do.
The top recommendations include addressing the MHT question, improving sleep, and integrating exercise into your routine.
