Having just listened to the first in the series I was very interested to learn about Heffernan’s take on ‘humanising PPE’ by the addition of a portrait photo of the person behind the ‘mask’. It certainly drives home the importance of the personal connection which is critical to the care nurses give. I’m surprised that this best practice is not more widespread.
I’m looking forward to listening to the other podcasts in the series.
