Listened to The Secret Garden episode. Went thru 3 different podcasts til I found this one and knew I was in the right place when at the 8 minute mark one of the hosts highlighted that Roger Deakins was the DP of this treasured film. Finally! A podcast that goes into nostalgia with substance. Bravo!
A lot of contrariness for the sake of contrariness. Sometimes they’ll even trash a piece of media just to say later that they actually did like it.
Please never stop talking about movies!!💞💞💞
was recced this podcast for this episode and well…for a show where one of the actors has said he actively seeks out things like this, that comment about him was unnecessary (and rude) and just objectively wrong. could’ve been edited out.
I love this podcast! It’s very insightful and funny and I’ve gotten some recommendations for fantastic movies by listening to it. The day that the best films of the year drops is always a holiday in my books.
