  • This pod: a rest from podcast individualism: hooray for a common, warm voice: class!

I feel team Carys and Gary intrinsically understand that what we ‘have’ has evolved from what we’ve all contributed and we’re all involved.

Friends of how the world has/had been/is (and could be) across society: great work Over The Top Under The Radar

  • Just perfect

This is a great podcast, differs from any other current affairs pod! I like that they don’t just spend time talking about the headlines, there is always something new and they do not talk endlessly!

Also loved the 9th May episode and the VE Day comment, as Greek living in the UK always feel offended by the lack of awareness of what other countries did for the war and of what Churchill did to some of these countries right at the end of it!

Worthy of your time and money!

  • Finally,

It is hard to find discourse about UK and world politics that does not speak through a lense of comfort and proximity to the status quo and/or media political infrastructure. This isn’t that ! Serious, grounded, Fearless and Blackety Black Black. If I’m listening to the usual suspects I better makes sure that this is my first course Sign me up . Patreon too. Because I can’t risk loosing this vital addition to the landscape! Well done team!

  • Half-baked Tory talk

Two blinkered right wingers chat about politics while trying to avoid admitting the left exists. It’s like a small brained version of that one with Rory and Alistair.

  • Insightful and compassionate

Really insightful and informative podcast. Full of genuine discussion of ideas for improving the lives of underprivileged people rather than performative debate, and all this whilst incorporating elements of fun and context for newcomers to an issue
