At last. Truth and integrity. Full disclosure, I’m a Green Party member and have been since Zak became leader. Nonetheless I don’t agree with everything that either Zak or the Greens stand for. Canadian left (NDP, Greens) need to listen to this! Many important perspectives that invite us to think bigger as far as mobilizing and organizing to win real left power, both between and at elections!
Great conversations that look at the world with a steady eye and think clearly about what is needed. After listening to all the back episodes I now keep my eagle eye open for new ones.
I have really enjoyed this podcast and am on board with most of Zack's policies. However he never really challenges any of his guests and in the recent interview with Shon Faye I was really concerned at his dismissal of women's concerns over protecting safe spaces for women and girls as being aligned with the far right. Your unquestioning stance in putting trans rights above the rights of women and vulnerable young people will put off a lot of people who otherwise are on your side.
