Two gynecologists walk into a recording studio. Sounds like the start of a joke, and frankly, perimenopause can feel like the start of a joke too. Only this joke is on you. And it’s not that funny. But back to those two OB/GYNS…. Dr Rebecca Dunsmoor-Su and Dr. Amy Voedisch have been caring for the reproductive health of those born with uteruses for a while now. And the doctors are frankly pretty t... more

This is a great podcast with excellent information. It debunks so many myths/fads/misinformation. I’m a physician with a lot of women going through perimenopause and menopause. I am comfortable with prescribing medications for this, but I do like to refer patients to your podcast if they’re really interested in hearing some great factual information.
Specifically regarding the nutrition episode, if you know what information to look for already, you can find it hidden inside of the hemming and hawing. But they are so afraid of upsetting anyone or making anyone feel bad, that it can be really easy to miss. Information that will lead to real results is not presented in a clear way, but they do make you feel better about yourself
I have been enjoying the content of this podcast from the range of topics, to the depth of data to the relatability of passion in the presenters for the experience on the patients. I’m a physician and a m learning stuff I’ve never heard before. I would recomend this podcast for every person with ovaries, a uterus, or “female” levels of estrogen.
I would really love to hear more about nutrition in perimenopause. I know it’s important but I don’t know what to focus on.
This is a terrific podcast for women in perimenopause. I am learning so much from Dr. Voedisch and her colleague!
