Cannot listen with that annoying music? In background sigh…
Loved the episode about Birds and Music! A rather obscure artist I want to add to the song list is by “The The” and the name of the track is “Sweet Birds of Truth”. From the Columbia record label which is now owned by Sony Corporation. Originally from England, “The The” is totally underrated in my opinion and a truly amazing lyricist that I consider as a sort of Lenard Cohen of the UK. Anyway, thanks for the episode, was wonderful and inspiring!
I love all the guests that they have on this show. I highly recommend it to all my birder friends.
I have listened to, and loved, OTWTB since it started, with the late Bill Thompson III and Ben Lizdas and then after Bill got ill, Ben and Alvaro Jaramillo. I loved the format of two friends, both birders, talking about birds and birding. I loved the chemistry between them and the running jokes and the gentle competition. more
