  • Misinformation left unchecked

Like too many podcasts that dip their toes into JFK’s assassination the host lets guests make unfounded assertions that are reflections of their political ideology; piggybacking misinformation onto worthy pursuit of JFK research. The host lets these lies go unchallenged. I unfollowed the show because I cannot trust the host to monitor their own content. Additionally, the host books guests who are not primary researchers, rather people who draw conclusions from others work and are not necessarily... more

I was surprised to hear Judge Tunheim say that he sees no evidence to prove anyone but Oswald’s involvement. I was also surprised that Tim or you did not push back on that statement. I can understand Samoluk not protesting because he sucked up to the judge through the entire episode .

  • Gerald Posner

It was fantastic to hear Gerald Posner be the adult in the room. Oliver Stone and other conspiracy theorists have done a major disservice to the General Public. Oswald was the only one shooting that day. If your mind is even 10% open read Posners Book and watch Peter Jenning’s Documentary from 2003.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#1816 - Randall B. Woods
Q: Did Johnson intentionally avoid broad intervention in Vietnam, or was escalation a necessity of the time?
Johnson faced a complex set of pressures, including domestic reform goals and a fear of political collapse if he didn't act, but the decision to escalate was influenced by advisers who believed in the domino theory and Americanization of the war, even as some warned against it.
#1816 - Randall B. Woods
Q: What sparked your interest in Lyndon Johnson and led you to write about him?
My interest grew from studying Johnson's tapes and realizing how his complex personality and strategic use of Congress shaped the nation; I wanted to portray him as a flawed human who was trying to do the right thing within a very constrained political system.
#1804 - John Moretta
Q: Do you think that if Johnson had known what he was getting into with the presidency, he would have ever accepted it?
It's suggested that he might have preferred to stay in the Senate given the overwhelming responsibilities of the presidency.
#1811 - William J. Arnone
Q: What do you think made RFK's personality resonate with people?
His passion for helping the oppressed and his genuine concern for the common man made him relatable and appealing to many.
#1811 - William J. Arnone
Q: Did you get a lot of feedback from constituents?
Yes, many people were shocked that someone like Robert Kennedy cared about their issues, and often expressed gratitude when he helped resolve their problems.
