I’m such an idiot. I should have known about this podcast. If only I’d been paying better attention! I’ve listened to Alchemy This over and over but somehow I missed the announcement in the AT finale until I recently relistened to it. There it was, James clearly talking about continuing the legacy with Original Understudies. Well, after a short stunned moment of disbelief I jumped upon that bad boy and rode off into the sunset. I bought an iPhone simply to leave this review (8 refurbished so don’t get to excited), because of how great it is to have a continuous source of laughter like this show, the name of which escapes me. So glad to see a more balanced m/f ratio than on alchemy this, the podcast that this is the refurbished version of.

Like so many I mourned the shutting down of Alchemy This but YAY! for James Heaney and the entire Original Understudies crew. Nice mix of regulars developing! They are getting better by the week with their own format, just as likely as AT to cause belly laughs and higher dry cleaner bills due to snorting coffee or booze through nose while listening. Be warned.
